Where has the year gone? If anyone finds any spare days from May thru September lying around, let me know. Because I have lost quite a few of them!
I am setting here on my couch, looking out the huge picture window, and watching the neighbors raking up their leaves, which usually end up in our yard on the windy days. But, I love raking the leaves, spending time outside, with the Fall smells and the crisp air, so I don't mind. I basically have my outdoor work done, in regards to the flower beds, etc. Just a few minor things yet to tidy up.
We are waiting for the carpet scrubbers to come this afternoon. We are doing it the easy way, this year! So, while they are doing their thing, I think I will do a little knitting. I'll work on my Hitchhiker scarf, hoping to get it finished TODAY!! I love the word FINISHED, when it comes to my knitting or quilting projects. It is music to my ears!
